Welcome to the 2022 - 2023 School Year Grade 4, Division 4, Miss Gill
This year will be a full year of learning! This website hopefully has everything you would need and want to know about my teaching style, how the classroom runs, curriculum, current homework and other helpful links.
Ways to Contact me
Please drop by anytime for a quick chat, but if you know you would like to meet for longer than a few minutes, Please contact me to make an appointment, email works well for that. [email protected]. If I have a concern, I will be contacting you right away. Grade 4 in particular is a big transition of independence. In some cases, children are not good communicators with parents as far as homework or expectations with projects.
Best ways to contact me: 1. Email: [email protected] 2. Drop in with a quick message before or after school, keeping in mind I will not necessarily have time for a full discussion if you drop in. We can talk briefly then, and if need be please set an appointment. 3. Phone: number is the office number to leave a message (604) 903 - 3650. This is third not because I won't phone you back (!). Getting a message in a timely manner and getting a chance to call simply takes A LOT longer than the above 2 options.
Ways to learn about me, and my public profile as an Educator

I also have another website around my National Geographic Fellowship and connection, Canadian Geographic work, and Geo literacy links and information kristenmgill.weebly.com. I was interviewed quite few times the year surrounding my Nat Geo fellowship, the links if they are still active are posted on my website by CBC, The Province, SFU and a few others. Canadian Geographic in June 2017 and was a featured teacher of the month. www.canadiangeographic.ca/article/geography-teacher-month-kristen-gill
